What We Wore

I have a new photographer.
Well, technically 2 new photographers.
Since the clocks fell back, Breadwinner isn't home until after dark. He leaves well before the sun and I get up- so early morning shots are out, too.
When we get home from school, my 5 year old puts the camera strap around her neck, holds the camera as straight as possible-which is no small feat with the heavy lens and extra side grip- puts it up to her eye and shoots away. It makes for lots of photo editing-cropping, straightening....
Every once in a while I get one of the teachers at the preschool to grab my camera and try to help out.
I know, I know..I have a timer, remote shutter, tri-pod..so many options.
My littlest helper is enjoying her new roll.
The weather is getting colder and some of my favorite pieces are coming out!
Sweaters, scarves, hats, jackets.
I love winter!

It was still in the 60s during the day when I wore this outfit
coral ruffled tank, cocoa ruffled cardi, brown belt-NY&Co
new trouser jeans (another Black Friday score!)-American Eagle
animal print kitten heel sandals- JC Penney- I'm sure they will come back out when it warms up again
It was a wet ponytail, no make up day- but I tried to make up for it in my outfit pairing
What do you think?

The girls are loving the cooler weather, too...and dressing themselves every morning.
Madison is getting SO sassy!
Fancy Nancy reincarnate
or just a crazy kindergartener
sweater dress-Crazy 8
white tee-Target
Mrs Claus Christmas Warmies- made by me last Christmas

Kennedy's nickname is Monster. It's so fitting. She is sweet and kind one minute, then running, pouting, growling the next! She's a wild one!

floral dress-Target
owl leggings- Gymboree-hand me down from best friend's daughter
green stripe socks- Gymboree-gift
silver mary janes on the wrong feet-ALWAYS-Target

With weather still in the low 60's last week, I got to wear my brand new Stacy Lynn skirt!
This little beauty's been on my wishlist since April first shared it.
At the fall Queen Bee Market a few weekends ago I picked one up for myself!
I love all different flecks of color and it's super fun worn high on the waist with a belt
fabulous yellow skirt-Stacy Lynn
gray v-neck tee- Old Navy
camel belt-Target
plum tights-NY&Co
camel boots-hand me down from my best friend
  Photobucket
lovely headband that perfectly matches all the colors of my outfit- birthday gift from Ramona  at Inspired by Faith
bonus: I got to meet her in person finally when she came to the Queen Bee Market

The weather has cooled down significantly since these photos were taken-teens at night, low 50's and gusting wind during the day.
Get ready for more heavy sweaters next week!

Linking up with Lindsey and Nina.

Ok, M cracks me up! Love her choices. She is totally Fancy Nancy in real life. The dress K is wearing.. LOVE. When it's too small can I have it? Just for the fabric? ;)
