Framing Happy

Earlier this week I shared one of my Spring projects with Tammy from Type A Decorating and her readers.
Today, I'm sharing with you.

Sometimes moms just need a little pick me up. I put together these frames for my mom and mother in law just after Easter, but didn't send them until this Summer.
I can not remember where I found this awesome free printable. If it was yours, please let me know so I can give you credit!

I started with two black 5x7 frames, painted white ( I couldn't find any white ones at the $1.50 price point! Thank you, Micheal's),
embellished with white muslin and teal felt rolled rosettes,
Attached the frames in pairs with hot glue and gold satin ribbon
(Because satin ribbon makes everything better!)
Then finished them off with a gold satin bow for hanging and silly, sweet photos from Easter.
One for my mom and one for my mother in law.
A simple wall hanging to make them smile and remind them how much we love and miss them from across the country.
PS Do you like the extra little peek at my refinished TV hutch?

I LOVE these frames! Such a sweet way to remind the mothers how much they mean to you. Thanks for sharing :)

I love that saying. My grandfather always called my grandmother "angel mother". She called him "daddy dear".
