It's Wednesday

Wednesday can only mean one thing around here....
Fashion time!
Are you here to see what I came up with this week?
Lindsey challenged us to share a thrifted or steal of deal outfit this week.
Did you participate?
Let's see what you think of my pairings this week!
Wednesday-Another Preschool day. The 2 year old teacher told me I was brave for wearing white- she offered up this statement while providing her class blue paint for our new outdoor painting panels. Yikes! haha- The director (my friend, Jessica) suggested this dress would be fabulously styled for winter. We decided on skinny jeans, boots, and a chunky sweater- the question- is white acceptable after Labor Day now?
White dress with black embroidery- JCrew- thrifted by my BFF ShopGal.-She finds the best things at the Hilton Head, SC thrift shops!
It isn't quite as short as it looks- the wind was so intense it nearly blew me over!
Multi strand necklace- ShopGal's shop- Eclectic Elegance,
rosette bobby pin-Pink Lemonade
Thursday-The big State Licensing tour of the new playground at the Preschool. *gulp* She gave us FANTASTIC news. Approval! September 14th- grand unveiling of the new incredible playground during Back to School night! (for a sneak peek check out the school site)
Floral sheer top-NY&Co, White Pants-Ann Taylor Loft
Black flower skinny belt, black beaded necklace-NY &Co, Coral shoes-thrifted from a local Goodwill $4. I planned to redo them somehow- new color? Fabric? So glad I didn't have time- the color was too perfect not to wear with this top.
Friday-dropped Big Sister at Kindergarten, then spent most of the day in my apron. Cupcakes, cake pops (first attempt!), pasta salad, and food prep for the girls' bday party Saturday.
Apron- Clearance $19.99 Anthro- LOVE their aprons. LOVE the clearance price point.
Knit Dress-StacyLynn- Queen Bee purchase- I want one of EVERYTHING she makes.
Caramel belt-Target, silver flats-gift from Gramm
So- what do you think? Does the traditional rule still apply?
Or can I restyle that cutie dress again this winter?
PS Is there a Fairly Fabulous frame, hoot, or tweet you've had your eye on? Come back Friday for a HUGE weekend announcement. The Mother of All Fairly Fabulous announcements.
You won't want to miss this!

Love the white dress and, yes, I'd totally wear it in the winter with boots, jeggings and a chunky sweater. I think it'd look very chic.

Ahh! The best shoes are always thrifted! I was hoping to score a pair of my own. Great color and I love the smaller heel. Nice find!
