Rags to Stitches Boutique is Here Today!

Some bloggers schedule guest post series when they have a baby.

Well, prepping for Sew Funky Market and the Queen Bee are my new baby- so I'm taking a little 'maternity leave' and some of my favorite gals are filling in the gaps!

Don't be fooled- I'm busy crafting and creating in between prepping my booth- there will be tons to update when the markets are over, and a few teasers here and there all Summer.

Surely you already know our next Fabulous Summer Guest Blogger- Alissa from Rags to Stitches. We 'met' on Twitter (though we really met by commenting on each others' WIWW posts- Thank you, Lindsey!)
We bonded over So You Think You Can Dance and Blog Sugar and now another sweet blogger and I are crashing her house for a Blog Sugar slumber party in September! WA-HOO!

Hi, I'm Alissa and I blog over at Rags to Stitches. I'm so excited to be guest posting over here at Fairly Fabulous today, especially since I think Meagan is absolutely fabulous. I'm a wife to an amazing and truly supportive husband, who helps me strive to be a better person, and mommy to two littles. Katelyn just turned 3 and is an a sassy little lady, whose smile and personality can light up any room. Brayden is 19 months and he keeps me on my toes. I can't even leave the room because it's guaranteed I'll find him on top of a table or cabinet when I return. I love being a mommy! In my down time I love to blog, sew and craft. You can check out my little handmade shop here. It's a little bare right now because I've been working on some special orders.

Lately I've been daydreaming in balloons. I love photography and you'll often find me behind the lens of my camera. I'm always looking for inspiration for a family shoot. I found these amazing pictures on Pinterest, my new favorite time sucker. If you need an invite, just email me, I have a few left. Every year my hubby's family gathers for a photo shoot. There's 9 of us! I love idea of doing something out of the box, and something memorable. We always shoot at the beach and this year we're shooting in a field and at a local mission. Can't you imagine how absolutely adorable having balloons would be?

I love tattoos, I have 2 of them. I think this would be such a cute idea. I might be tempted to get a tat of a little boy and a little girl for my two wee ones.

I'm a sucker for balloon photos, too. Ugh- makes me want to drop everything and go get balloons, put the girls in sundresses and head to a local field.
Back to sewing-
Thanks, Alissa for helping me out on my 'Market Maternity Leave'.
Be sure to stop by Rags to Stitches and tell Alissa thanks for playing at Fairly Fabulous today!

I am so in love with these balloon photos! (and suddenly find myself in need of another tattoo.) Love your blog title and always give props to moms who are determined to still "have it". Love it.
