What I Wore

Happy Wednesday.
27 weeks ago I joined Lindsey at the Pleated Poppy in linking up with her quest to make more of an effort on herself each day. Just because she works from home, home schools her kids and rarely leaves the house, doesn't mean she should stay in softy pants all day.
What started as making a bigger effort in my daily wardrobe, has become a daily fashion show.
It's fun to get dressed. I'm happier. It's a beautiful quest.
Thanks for joining me for another week with Lindsey and now- Momma Go Round and No Model Lady (who- by the way is hosting a Shabby Apple giveaway this week- but seriously- don't enter. I REALLY want to win this one. It's gorge-ous!) and Making the World Cuter. SO many fun link ups this week!
Last Wednesday we were painting again at the Preschool.
Soon enough I can show you pictures of all our projects. No painting clothes pics.
Thursday-Meetings at the Preschool.
It's warming up here in the desert. Is Spring finally here?
Coral dress-NY and Co, Dark Gray sleeveless drapey-American Eagle
Heather gray leggings-Target
Coral flower clip, beaded necklace, silver hoop earrings-NY and Co
Gray bowed flats- my mom (Gramm) gives the best shoe gifts
 Here's a better shot
Funny thing- Little Sister looked super cute today in her new Spring outfit from Gramm and Pop. When we were outside playing I went to snap some quick shots.
She immediately broke into poses.
I couldn't stop laughing
Even with the hands on the hips
and a lean
Oh- her outfit is from Carter's outlet.
Friday I had a an appointment 90 miles from home.
Breadwinner was on base with an important milestone test, the girls were at school. First thing in the morning we got word things went terribly wrong on base. I looked cute. Super cute- and Springy- despite the less than fun appointment and news. Unfortunately, no pics. I'm sure it will come up again...but maybe it won't. It was a sad day. That dress may need to be filed in the bad day, don't wear again pile.
No picture of what I wore, but guess where I ended up while 90 miles from home
Love Anthropologie aprons. None came home with me today. Sad.
Saturday- Breadwinner spent another many, many hours on base.
The girls and I stayed home, did laundry, watched Tangled on a loop, worked on a refinishing project, and ended the night at friends' house.
Coral ruffled top-Ann Taylor Loft, White tank-Old Navy, Brown Belt-gift from Shopgal,
Denim boyfriend crops-American Eagle

Love these ruffles. Think I could do this? So many of you amazing bloggers make it look so easy.
Silver/Gray flower flops-NY and Co (get yours)
Sunday was a lazy day at our house.
Talking, thinking, cleaning, napping. Praying.
Another day of no exciting clothes.
Monday-the day of girls at home.
Cleaning, more laundry, planning.
We played outside. I wore silly, old shoes.
Tuesday-Working at the Preschool.
Filing putty, sanding, conference calls- they said I was the fanciest painter ever.
No real painting today- prepping for tomorrow.
Printed Maxi dress and mushroom colored sweater- NY and Co
Olive ruffle tank top-American Eagle
 Caramel colored belt-Target
 I felt so girly
Yellow shell necklace-Melbourne Beach, FL shop- Gidgets, Brown dangly earrings-NY and Co
Cute, strappy heels- hand me down from a friend- Macy's
Whew- somebody get that girl a pedicure.
Spring is here- time for some much needed foot care and bright polish!
Thanks for visiting!

Dear Meagan,
I want your clothes and I'd like to be as skinny as you. Furthermore, I'd like for you to pick out my clothes for me because I'm not confident at it. I wish that could be arranged! Sadly - California to Indiana is quite a distance.
You always look so cute!

I LOVE the maxi dress with the belt; I've never known how to *wear* a maxi dress; it's always worn me, but I may just try belting one, you make it look awesome!
