Greetings Earthling!

Back in February, a new creature arrived at our house.

The Robot Hoot started in my head, moved into a boxy template, found his way to my sewing machine, and made his way to a friend's birthday bag.

The Robot Hoot was inspired by a new little friend, Charlie.
Charlie was born in Russia, lived in an orphanage, was introduced to a high school friend of mine via adoption agency, and FINALLY after years of {patient} waiting- is HOME in South Carolina!
Charlie's new bedroom is robot themed. Now that he is home, his Mama and Daddy are much busier than they ever anticipated (aka- not updating their blog quite as regularly as they were before), but as far as I can tell- Charlie is in love with everything about his new home.
At some point, a little Robot Hoot will make it's way to Charlie's house- but this little guy- the one pictured- he went to live with a little astronaut! *wink*
