WIWW-Week 18

If you are new to What I Wore Wednesday, here is a quick refresher...
Lindsey at the Pleated Poppy started her What I Wore Wednesday posts about a year ago in an effort to change her habits of hanging out in pjs and softie pants all day. Just because she stays home to work and home school her kids, doesn't mean she can't be cute (seriously-she is too stinking cute, even IN her softies!). Since she started her WIWW link ups, tons of women all over the world are putting themselves out there in blogland each week in an effort to share, inspire, and just be's my Week 18:
Wednesday-Preschool with the girls then home to play outside- the weather was gorgeous

Purple dress- NY and Co
Jeans- AE (as always)

Scarf-Old Navy

here's the purple dress by itself

Did you notice the boots I was wearing? Aren't they AMAZING?! Hand me downs from Shopgal, they've been muddy in the garage since our move in weekend a year ago! So glad we cleaned up last weekend!
Thursday and Friday were more cleaning up and out days. Jeans, t-shirts- nothing special.
Saturday-more cleaning during the day- then date night! Rare, but fun.

Peachy/ruffled top-NY and Co
White tank-Old Navy
Dark jeans-American Eagle
Thin black belt-NY and Co- years ago
Black and silver dandle earrings-NY and Co (I really like their inexpensive, buy one get one half off jewelry- with coupons- tough to beat!)

Light gray cardi-NY and Co
Black beaded necklace-NY and Co

Silver/Black bangle- NY and Co

Cute black ruffled shoes-DSW for a friend's wedding
Sunday-Church then home with the family

Cocoa ruffled sweater-NY and Co
Gold ruffle top-NY and Co
Black pencil skirt-NY and Co

without the sweater-this is what I wore to my best friend's rehearsal dinner last month

I didn't have this fun necklace then-NY and Co, of course

These fun tights are from American Eagle.
Shoes-super duper old-11 years I think? Sam and Libby's
Monday-another cleaning day- early Spring cleaning and purging is in order! Tuesday-Little Sister was up all night- home sick today. So sad. Dropped Big Sister at preschool, then snuggled in with Little Sister most of the day

I really 'wore' this little accessory most of the day- poor Little Sister was so punky

Same cocoa ruffle sweater from Sunday
Green dress- Aeropostale
Same turquoise scarf from Wednesday

using the remote shutter again- this time out front at sunset.
gorgeous golden light- tough to see the true colors in each piece of clothing, though.

Did you want to see my latest awesome find? $4.98 clearance flats from Target. They had some amazing deals this weekend- smaller or larger than average sizes. These were the only 8s to be found- a little big, but oh so cute!
Maybe I should have joined Kendi's 30for30 challenge. I seem to wear a bunch of the same pieces week to week. Hmmm...maybe next time.
Congrats to Kelly at Polkadots and Prayers- the winner of last week's followers giveaway!
Be sure to enter this week's giveaway in honor of 10,000 hits- WOW- we are already past 14,000! You are amazing. Thanks for coming back to see what's new here!

Oh my goodness - the purple dress with jeans? Genius! (Or maybe, jeanius? lol)
I have the same dress but in a fabulous royal blue color. The problem? After the first two washes, it shrunk and was way too short to wear! I NEVER would have thought to add a pair of jeans to it; THANK YOU!
(Hoping Lil Sis is feeling better!)

I agree with Sam, the dress over jeans is too cute. I desperately need to go jean shopping and may look for some cute dresses to put with them!
