WIWW-Thanksgiving Weekend Edition**edited

If you are new to What I Wore Wednesday, here is a quick refresher...
Lindsey at the Pleated Poppy started her What I Wore Wednesday posts several months ago in an effort to change her habits of hanging out in pjs and softie pants all day. Just because she stays home to work and home school her kids, doesn't mean she can't be cute (seriously-she is too stinking cute, even IN her softies!). Since she started her WIWW link ups, over 100 women are putting themselves out there in blogland each week in an effort to share, inspire, and just be real....here's my Week 12....Thanksgiving Weekend Edition
**Are you new to Stay at Home Mom's Quest? Here's a quick run down on me....I'm a Stay at Home Mom who just opened an Etsy Shop (go me!), who strives to be at least semi cute-even on the I woke up so late there is no way we will make it to preschool before circle time ends mornings; craft/create/sew/paint/sand/refinish to keep my sanity; and lately....avoid working out which was the whole reason I started this blog apart from our sweet little family blog...which I also now neglect. Whew. It's hard work keeping up with life. Oh- and I get to wear jeans every day, but I'm trying my dardest to veer away and branch out. Thanks for stopping by!**
Wednesday- Scramble to get to Preschool then last minute pie shopping at Costco

Burnt orange sweater-NY and Co (found at back of closet- looked warm and everything else was in a clean clothes basket, eh hem)
Jeans- Yep, AE
Brown boots- JC Penney
Here's a close up of the sweater detail. Kinda fun?

Thursday- Good Ole Turkey Day! Friends came up from our 'old town' to spend the afternoon and early evening feasting and giving thanks with us. (We miss you already, Lotts!)

Ridiculously silly Turkey Day apron- Gramm, last year, Cracker Barrel. What can I say, I'm a sucker for aprons....underneath it....

sorry for the blurry pic
Cocoa ruffle cardi- NY and Co
Cream ruffle tee- NY and Co
Jeans- AE
I moved the baskets full of clean clothes- no, they are STILL not put away
Friday-Dun dun na NAAAAA....Black Friday shopping!! and Christmas decor prep
Started the day with a red turtle neck cable sweater layered over a cami, covered by my charcoal peacoat and a thick wool scarf. Friends- it was 18 degrees when I left for a late 5:30am start to my Black Friday and I wasn't about to wake the breadwinner trying to take a pic....so

when I got home I changed into this
Blue sweater- American Eagle
Fun black friday find on the circle olive and cream stripped scarf for $3 WHOOP, whoop- AE
After Breadwinner took this he said-"Don't you want to suck in anything?" Ah- are you feeling the love?
Saturday- Early morning Joann's doorbusters, then back home to load up the fam for Christmas Tree shopping!

How exhausted do I look by mid day? Ugh- getting great deals is hard work.
Brown long sleeve tee- Target
Brown/Black sweater-Old Navy
Go to tall brown boots- JC Penney last Black Friday
Big Sister- love that girl....most of the time ;)
Sunday- We finally went back to CHURCH! God is so good- we need to praise him more.

another blurry pic
Gray dress- NY and Co
Fun, drappey circle scarfy thing-NY and Co

Thin plum belt- NY and Co
Necklace- Natural Life gift from Eclectic Elegance
Brown wooden bracelet-pretty old
Brown beaded bracelet- Gramm hand me down

FABULOUS plum tights-American Eagle SOOO excited about these!
Incredibley fantastic camel boots- Best hand me down ever-Shopgal! ;) I can't say thanks enough
Monday-Babysitter came to play so Mommy could have some sanity time- and work like a fiend to get new holiday items listed in new Etsy Shop (shameless plug)

Plum drappey cape- Old Navy
Plum long sleeve tee- super old Target
Same drappey scarf from NY and Co
Is anyone EVER going to put away that growing pile of clean laundry?! Actually- I finally put every bit of it away Monday night.
Tuesday-Preschool, playing with Little Sister, then staying home to catch up on house chores

go to drappey sweater- NY and CO
White and Gold stripped tunic from my working days before kids- NY and Co
Red belt- Hmmm...can't remember
Camel boots- yep, ShopGal
***
OK Ladies- help me out. What do you wear on your feet in the fall and winter to stay warm? I love my boots- (I actually have a few pair you haven't even seen- if you can believe that!) but what other everyday options do I have? I'm not a fan of tennis shoes other than for working out and I have a pair of clogs in my closet, but the back of my jeans always gets stuck under my foot and they bug me all day. Not gonna lie- the brown Mary Jane Crocs do make an appearance around the house, but I really don't wear them out anymore. Oh do I love them for comfort when standing all day cleaning or crafting. So- What do YOU wear on your feet in the fall/winter? And what tips do you have for me? I have a pretty great DSW coupon- any suggestions?
See you next week! As always- thanks for the lovely comments. You gals keep me inspired!!

LOVE your Sunday and Tuesday outfits! Great style girl! As to winter shoes I'm not sure I'll be much help, I wear boots or my Uggs. Like, ALL the time.

I'm loving all of the plums and greys you've got going on, they look great on you. Great boots with your jeans & dress too.

Love the church outfit!!! And your Tuesday outfit!! Good work on the belts ;-) I wear slippers at home (Kohl's has some super cute girly ones that look like flats w/a flower up front). And I wear boots or uggs w/leggings or skinnies like 5 days a week. Do you like sneakers? Like Converse or Toms or Keds? I wear those w/regular jeans when it's not cold enough for boots.

I think the sweater in the first photo looks really cute, bring it to the front of the closet :) You have such great cardis and scarves. In the winter I love boots, but I also have some cute Puma sneakers that I wear a lot. I really love the moccasin or driving shoe look--Fossil has some super cute ones called the Drew Driver.
