WIWW-Confession Week

If you are new to What I Wore Wednesday, here is a quick refresher...
Lindsey at the Pleated Poppy started her What I Wore Wednesday posts several months ago in an effort to change her habits of hanging out in pjs and softie pants all day. Just because she stays home to work and home school her kids, doesn't mean she can't be cute (seriously-she is too stinking cute, even IN her softies!). Since she started her WIWW link ups, over 100 women are putting themselves out there in blogland each week in an effort to share, inspire, and just be's my Week 14.

here's blurry close up of the beading and shrug. Not such a great photo, let's pretend I didn't post that one....
Thursday-Confession was just past noon when I showered and got dressed for the day. The girls and I spent the morning in our pjs watching Christmas movies, doing a little more decorating, and sewing. By the time I finally got dressed and ready to leave it was nap time, so we stayed home. No pic today because the outfit I finally wore.....
Was worn again Friday all day-

Saturday-lazy morning, then off to finally get my hair done (geez those roots were bad!) and home to get ready for a Christmas party

Blue ruffle dress-American Eagle
Black felt sticking to my boob and tummy because I took Hoots to work on white I was sitting in the salon chair that I didn't notice until I uploaded this photo-priceless!
After I got home, finished drying my hair and dolled up a bit- Breadwinner finally caught what the girls and I have been passing around so he stayed in bed and we had Mommy and girls night out at our friend's Christmas party

Black dress- NY and CO
Fun black rose print tights-American Eagle
Black boots-JC Penney
Black flower thin headband- Aerie
Silver and black flower bracelet-NY and CO
Aren't my friends so cute?
Sunday-Home recovering the house from Breadwinner 'taking care of the kids' Saturday while sick and keeping the girls busy so he could rest a bit more, then a trip to town for Mommy errands

Brown soft linen jacket-Target
Teal applique tank-Old Navy
Distressed Bootcut jeans- American Eagle
Monday-Breadwinner home sick from work, the girls and I worked to stay out of the house to let him rest

Charcoal beaded top-American Eagle
White tank-Old Navy
Olive distressed slacks-American Eagle
Breadwinner was sleeping in our room in the morning, so we settled for this shot at the end of the night
Tuesday-Breadwinner still home sick. Took the girls to preschool and stayed 3 hours making snack for tomorrow (did I mention I'm the 'snack mom'?), helped the director with tomorrow night's Christmas Program program (not a typo- it's the program for the Program), discussed January's Preschool newsletter (did I mention I do the school newsletter?), came home to play and color, and sew, and clean, and do pic today.
I can't remember the last time I went to bed before 2am-This Christmas season may just kill me....or make me stronger.
Happy Wednesday!

Great blog! I'm a new follower and a part-time stay at home mommy too. Speaking of outfits, right now I'm sporting a striped shirt, my hubbies ugly plaid coat, black leggings and bright green socks! It's 6 a.m. and I just had to let the dog out...I don't dare take a pic. of this!

Cute hair!! And love the party outfit - especially the tights and headband :-) I've been keeping my eyes open for fun maternity tights, but then I realized I don't have any dresses that fit right now (well one, but it would look really stupid with fun tights). So I guess I need a dress too ;-)

Busy life! I'm exhausted just reading about it. You looked great all week. Highlight for me was the blue ruffle dress -- loved it!

And WOW, you looked great in your all black party outfit.
